President

Tatiana is known to many BUSD parents as the co-owner of Classroom Matters, and she's its learning differences specialist. In her advocacy for kids with learning differences, she helps families get support, services, and curriculum accommodations that promote student engagement. Given the depth of her experience and commitment to equity and inclusion, Tatiana is destined to put her stamp on this position’s role at Berkeley High.

Secretary

Sheela is a real estate developer who believes deeply in building healthier communities for everyone and has spent most of her career working to provide affordable housing to low income communities throughout California. She is the mother of two Berkeley High Alums and a current Sophomore. Through working with the PTSA and student representatives, she is committed to helping to improve the connections and relationships between parents, school administration and students at Berkeley High.

I am the mother of a eleventh grader at BHS.  I once served on the LCAP Parent Advisory Committee. I feel it is important to help the public schools in the ways that I can to support students and hard working teachers. Serving as secretary of the PTSA has allowed me to get a sense of Berkeley High, its school activities, and the various needs of the school.
