SCHEDULE FOR MATH PLACEMENT TESTS
Honors Geometry will be March 27th, 28th and 29th after school from 3:30-4:15 in room H306. Honors Algebra 2 and Honors Math Analysis will be April 3rd and April 5th from 3:30-4:15 in room H306. Students need to sign up with Mike Weitz, chair of the BHS Math Department, via e-mail to take the test. His email is: mweitz@berkeley.k12.ca.us. The policy on honors testing is that all students who want to take an honors math class at Berkeley High School must pass the placement test unless they pass the previous Honors class at Berkeley High School with a B or better. Students who are taking Algebra I at King, Longfellow and Willard Middle Schools will take the test at their respective schools. Students should bring two #2 pencils and a calculator to the test.
